The Consortium for Research on Eye Tracking in Infants was founded in the summer of 2000 to help connect researchers from across the globe working in a variety of fields within infant cognition. These researchers were united in their use of newly developed computerized eye tracking technologies to assess infant cognition.

Although computerized eye tracking technologies have been available for use with adults for quite some time, adapting them to infants has proved a unique challenge. The Consortium was established in part to foster dialog between the small number of recently established eye tracking research groups. Hopefully we can learn from each other's mistakes and successes. The Consortium is also a place for prospective eye tracking researchers to come to find information about the technology and methodological advances that allow for the eye tracking of infants.

The key to this consortium is its members. Each member is encouraged to provide as much information as they can about the technology they use, the sorts of experiments they run, and they techniques they have found for putting it all together. We encourage you to find more information by browsing our members section.
