Exam 1 grades are now available

A few statistics regarding exam 1:

High score was 68 points (there were 70 questions total)
The average score was 51.2 points (73%--a percentage similar to previous semesters)
Points (not percentages) are what you'll see when you look under the Grade section on ICON.

Approximate letter grades are as follows. These are only approximate because there are two exams, two papers, and discussion points that will contribute to your final grade. The following grades are what you would likely receive if grades were assigned today based on Exam 1 only.

The curve is desribed in the syllabus.

Letter grade	Point range
A	62 and above
B	53-61
C	41-52
D	34-40
F	33 and below
